What is it exactly that RPS V4 Extract
does?
The RPS V4 database has over 256 tables. The RPS
V4 Extract application lets you create one table that contains
one record per parcel (with assessment information, owner
information, inventory information, latest sale information,
etc.) The application is delivered as a stand-alone, executable
that users can:
- Extract the most pertinent data from the many different
RPS V4 Sybase data tables
- Write that data to a manageable number of tables in
a Microsoft Access file (.mdb)
After users make their choices, the extract application
creates a single Microsoft Access file (.mdb file) that
can contain one table for each of the table(s) chosen to
be created. The tables that can be extracted include:
- The Parcel & Inventory (GIS Extract) Table
contains one record per parcel. Data is extracted from
the following RPS V4 tables: Parcel, Parcel_to_owner,
Owner, Assessment, Land, Residential and commercial buildings,
Sales, Historical, and Site. As well as many look up tables.
- The Sales Table contains a record for each sale
stored in RPS. If a parcel has never been sold there would
be no records for that parcel in this table. If a parcel
has been sold 3 times, then there would be 3 records in
this table for that parcel.
- The Special Districts Table contains a record
for each special district that a parcel occupies. A parcel
may be located in many special districts. If a parcel
is located in many special districts, then there would
be many records in this table for that parcel.
- The Exemptions Table contains a record for each
exemption that a parcel qualifies to receive. A parcel
may qualify for many exemptions. If a parcel qualifies
for many exemptions, then there would be many records
in this table for that parcel.
- The All Sites Table contains a record for each
site on a parcel. There may be many sites located on a
parcel. If a parcel has many sites located on it, then
there would be many records in this table for that parcel.
