With HGI's newly created a group of applets, working with
parcel layers easy. Each applet is delivered as a DLL that
can be loaded into ArcGIS as a button and is customizable;
the field names specified can be changed using a configuration
function. Only $500 per applet!

Who can use the applets?
Any ArcGIS user who uses parcel data (Boundary
polygons attached to attribute data)
What are the benefits?

There are three municipal applets available
for purchase:

Parcel
Search
The Parcel Search applet searches a parcel layer by one
of three attributes: Parcel Number, Parcel Owner, and Parcel
Address. Once a search has been completed the selected parcel
is zoomed in on. If a group of parcels meets the criteria
specified, a list of those parcels appears and the user
is prompted to choose from the list.

How does
it work?
It is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Choose the layer
- Choose the search method (Parcel Number, Owner
Name, or Parcel Location)
- Choose the parcel
And then hit the Search Button

What is the result of a Parcel Search?
When the user chooses the Search button, if one
parcel meets the criteria specified, the parcel will be
selected and zoomed to. If more that one parcel meets the
criteria specified, all the parcels will be selected and
a list of those parcels appears in a new window.

Abutter List
The Abutter List applet finds the abutting parcels for a
selected set of parcels in a parcel layer and an address
list is created. The address list comprises a group of attributes
including: Parcel Number, Owner, Street, City, State, and
Zip.

How does
it work?
It is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
- Choose the layer
- Choose the search method (Adjacent, Within a Distance
of, Use Selected Parcels Only),
- Choose the Create List button

What is the result of an Abutter List?
When the user chooses the Create List button, the specified
abutting parcels will be selected and an address list created.

Parcel Flyer
The Parcel Flyer applet creates an 8.5" x 11"
map with the selected parcel as the focus of attention.
The selected parcel's attribute information will be placed
at the top of the page with a map at the bottom.

How does
it work?
It is as easy as selecting the layer and clicking
the Create Flyer Button.

What is a flyer?
When the user chooses the Create Flyer button with one parcel
selected, the flyer is created and the view is switched
to layout as shown.
